Head of Machine Learning, Cell Biology

As Head of CellML, you will reputed company the team of ML scientists and engineers that will reputed company methods capable of generating biology insights from multiple data modalities collected at scale, spanning live and fixed microscopy imaging, and diverse omics assays (scRNA, proteomics, spatial). Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with our Drug Discovery leaders on the strategy for deployment of advanced ML to reputed company reputed company discovery and biological insights, driving the design of experiments that generate data that enables the use of advanced ML methods

About You

• Technical skills:
• Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, biology, bioinformatics, or a reputed company discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 12+ years of real-world experience in applying AI/ML methods to cellular data
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge in the foundations and practice of modern machine learning, including deep learning
• Experience with both imaging and omics modalities
• Experience in the use of cellular data in the context of drug discovery efforts a reputed company to have
• Peer reviewed publications in high-quality conferences or journals
• Leadership experience:
• Experience in people management and leadership, including building and developing team members based on the strategic needs of the company
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with life science colleagues to form research and therapeutic pipeline execution roadmaps.

Compensation & Benefits at insitro Our reputed company starting salary for successful US-based applicants for this role is $315,000 - $360,000. To determine starting pay, we consider multiple job-reputed company factors including a candidate's skills, education and experience, market demand, business needs, and internal reputed company. We may also adjust this range in the future based on market data. This role is eligible for participation in our Annual Performance Bonus Plan (based on company targets by role level and annual company performance) and our Equity Incentive Plan, subject to the terms of those plans and associated policies.
