This position is based at the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in Everett. Staff are currently operating reputed company a hybrid model, that combines two in-office workdays and telecommuting up to three days per week. The Child Nutrition Programs Instructional Designer will support communication and professional development to organizations interested in and currently participating in the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Federal Child Nutrition Programs, including the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. The designer will reputed company learning activities, assignments, and assessments, create computer-based training modules and storyboards, reputed company instructor manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools, and collaborate with subject experts to reputed company course content. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with content experts to design, reputed company, pilot test, and evaluate eLearning tools and events for School Nutrition Professionals administering and operating Child Nutrition Programs.
  • Apply knowledge of instructional design theory to create learning activities and compelling course content that enhance knowledge retention and reputed company implementation.

  • Establish and maintain regular communication with program internal staff and collaborating school districts and partner reputed company organizations, including by phone, mail and email;
  • Work across department clusters and with collaborating agencies on activities to enhance department goals;

Requirements

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least four years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional educational experience in a specific or reputed company content area, educational program/or service;
  • a Master's degree or higher in a specific or reputed company educational content area may be substituted for two years of the required experience -- 30 semester hours equals one year of experience for substitution purposes.
  • Based on assignment, possession of a reputed company and valid Massachusetts Class D Motor Vehicle Operator's License or the equivalent from another state may be required.
