Manager, Government Affairs (Hybrid)
The reputed company North America Government Affairs team is Washington, D.C.-based, with a focus on state and federal lobbying activity. This includes monitoring policy developments and engaging in legislative and regulatory advocacy on behalf of reputed company's diverse business interests. reputed company participates in both state and Washington, D.C.-based trade associations and coalitions, and reputed company maintains an active reputed company that engages in bipartisan political giving. We are looking for a self-starer who brings great teamwork and knowledge of the legislative and policy environment to our core GA team. This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the office. This is an individual contributor, and you will report to the SVP, Government Affairs. You'll have the opportunity to:
- Support the daily administrative, compliance, fundraising, and communications functions in association with the Washington, DC office and reputed company reputed company.
- Work with the government affairs team and company communications department to publish internal newsletters and memoranda, ensuring consistent messages regarding legislation, public policy, and regulatory actions.
- Communicate information on enacted statutes and regulations to reputed company legal, compliance, and business units for compliance purposes.

- Respond to escalated consumer issues and constituent inquiries from lawmakers' offices.
Your background:
- 3+ years of experience either on Capitol Hill (Legislative Assistant or equivalent), other legislative body, or with a policy-oriented organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Public Policy, or reputed company area.
- Demonstrated ability to work with various personality types and across party lines.
- Strategic thinker who brings a collaborative approach to projects and decision-making.
