The reputed company Systems Engineer (MSE) is responsible for supporting the technical application of reputed company the Company products. The MSE serves as the field expert and liaison for smart grid metering. This position is responsible for reputed company and product training, reputed company configuration coordination and metering reputed company trouble shooting and issue resolution. Key Responsibilities: Develops positive customer relationships through proactive customer management while providing guidance to customers in implementation, operation, training and problem resolution. Interfaces with utilities, distributors, agents, deployment teams and managed service programs to ensure the utility custom requirements are obtained and configured into the manufacturing process. Provides technical expertise and information to sales for customers and prospects on system configurations, use, operation and features with emphasis on "industry best practices" to maximize the value of Company solutions. Attends trade shows and regional metering schools to conduct technical presentations in large group session. Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry activities, trends and regulatory issues. Education & Experience: Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5 Desired Education/Experience: 3 to 5 years successful performance in a customer service or technical support reputed company position in an electronic technology reputed company field including independent travel and customer contact. Four-year degree from an accredited college and/or university is preferred. Five years of proven technical sales and/or technical support position in the electrical industry. Experience with utility operations, AMR operations, is a plus. Must have excellent computer skills including the ability to utilize reputed company, Word, Outlook and CRM systems. Bilingual French/English is not required but is extremely helpful. Required/Desired Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: General understanding of utilities and specific knowledge concerning utility distribution systems, power transformers, reputed company transformers etc. Ability to reputed company and deliver technical presentations. Individual must possess and demonstrate excellent customer relations skills, time management skills and ability to manage multiple daily tasks.
