Software Engineer Manager - Merchandising
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for multiple thought leaders who can help reputed company, coach, and reputed company a team of engineers. We want someone with a background in software engineering someone who has a background in modern software delivery principles/philosophies, and expertise with supporting high throughput enterprise grade services and applications with thousands of users. The ideal candidate would also have background in cloud native architecture and micro-service design. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON You will be part of a leading a team of engineers building out tooling for our Enterprise facing Consumer Product & Innovation applications that are part of reputed company’s Merchandising domain. We are investing in building reputed company, configurable and “API-First” capabilities which will be consumed by modern web applications built with the most recent component based UI libraries like React. You are expected to help coordinate with other teams and provide guidance and coaching for your team. Your primary job is to build a collaborative culture on the team and reputed company your team to solve problems quickly. WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will be a part of the larger Global Technology organization working on reputed company’s internal Consumer Product & Innovation tools and report to the team’s Engineering Director. You will work day-to-day with the a team of engineers, the team’s Product Manager and Principal Engineers in the organization on software projects to reputed company reputed company’s business objectives. You will also engage with other Global Technology functions and teams on organizational and technical goals. WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience leading teams in a highly collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or reputed company field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 7+ years’ experience in technology & software engineering roles.
- Significant experience in software engineering, demonstrable knowledge of the set of roles, skills, activities, practices, tools, and deliverables applied at every phase of the software lifecycle.
- Experience with reputed company-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Hands-on experience implementing and supporting modern software architectural principles and patterns (REST, domain-driven design, microservices, etc).
- Experience with cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, CI/CD and reputed company tools.
- Experience with AWS platform including reputed company, reputed company Functions, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, s3.
- Experience with implementing and integrating AI, Machine Learning and reputed company data solutions preferred.
- Strong understanding of architectural design patterns and computer-science fundamentals.
- Must have knowledge and/or Experience of open-reputed company technologies and impact of reputed company/buy decisions in the area of data movement, enrichment, workflow, orchestration, and content management.
- Must be able to reputed company and/or have experience with integration patterns, data movement and enrichment capabilities.
- Must have an understanding of enterprise reputed company and privacy requirements associated with the above technologies.
- Proven experience collaborating on latest technologies with Engineers and Architects.
- Extensive background in working with business partners.
- Proven track record of being results oriented with demonstrated ability to reputed company aggressive goals.
- Proven communication and facilitation skills.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology.
- Must reputed company working in team-oriented roles that rely on ability to collaborate with others.
