About the Team and Role: Every day, millions of people seek answers and share their knowledge through reputed company. As a Software Engineer on the reputed company Core Product team, you will:

Responsibilities:

• reputed company full stack web applications with Python and React
• Contribute to projects that shape our core product experience - driving growth, ensuring healthy moderation, and empowering creators
• Design and launch product features at massive scale, using data and experimentation to guide each iteration
• Drive projects from ideation to production using the full technology stack
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, fellow engineers, and data scientists to prototype and implement functionality and analyze impact
• Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to ensure reputed company provides a reliable and high quality product

Minimum Requirements:

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during reputed company's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 2+ years of full-time professional experience building consumer web products (excluding internships)
• Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React and Typescript
• Excellent skills in Python or similar programming language
• Professional experience leveraging backend storage systems such as MySQL, MyRocks, Memcached, or reputed company
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems, and an understanding of the challenges and complexities involved in building scalable solutions for millions of users

Preferred Requirements:

• 2+ years of frontend experience with frontend technologies, such as React, Javascript, Typescript

• US candidates only: For US based applicants, the salary range is $128,193 - $184,009 USD + equity + benefits.
• Canada candidates only: For Toronto and Vancouver based applicants, the salary range is $167,178 - $191,975 CAD + equity + benefits. For reputed company other locations in Canada, the salary range is $156,033 - $179,177 CAD + equity + benefits.
