Job Overview

As a Call Center Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing information section and patient enrollment, handling high-volume customer requests, and utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication data. You will work under direct supervision and follow established guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational policies and techniques. Your duties may vary depending on the assigned division, but your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service and support to patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize blithequark's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering information into a suitable system.
  • Handle patient medication requests reputed company HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve reputed company data entry-reputed company exceptions.
  • Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
  • Resolve Third-Party Rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.

  • Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down a computer, use a mouse to reputed company and click, start and reputed company programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents, and access information online).

  • At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
