Cloud FinOps Analyst

Position Purpose:

Partner with engineering, finance, and procurement teams to drive financial accountability, improve cloud efficiency, and reputed company forecasting models that align cloud economics with business outcomes.

• Monitor cloud usage across AWS and MS Azure; analyze spending patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• reputed company and maintain dashboards to visualize cloud spend across teams and business units.

• Build and maintain financial models to forecast cloud spend and track against budget.

• Create executive-level reporting that connects cloud economics to business outcomes.

• Partner with Finance to reputed company cost allocation methodologies and reputed company technical-financial gaps.

• Work closely with Cloud Engineers, Architects, and Procurement to align cloud strategy with business goals.

• Influence engineering teams through clear communication of cost concepts and optimization strategies.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Complies with reputed company policies and standards.

Education/Experience:

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 – 4 years of reputed company experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and reputed company reflective of the level of this position.

Preferred Experience: – Proficiency in data visualization tools and data driven financial analysis. – Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their cost structures.

– Experience in implementing strategies such as rightsizing, reserved instances, savings plans and storage/network optimization. – Familiarity with FinOps frameworks and enterprise scale information systems management.

– Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Pay Range: $30.00 – $54.03 per hour

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-reputed company factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
