Requirements

We are now searching for an Accountant based in India to support our growing Accounting Team in the United Kingdom, remotely.

Mission: Deliver high quality accounting services to a portfolio of clients in the UK.

Outcomes

• Support the Client Manager/ Accounting Manager to deliver high quality accounting services to a portfolio of UK SME clients including bank reconciliations, fixed assets, register, raising journals and preparing financial reports
• Preparing Unaudited Financial Statements, VAT quarterly submissions, and payroll support for clients
• Understand and adhere to UK financial regulations and legislation
• Work with internal stakeholders and third-party consultants on specifications

To do this you will have:

• Recognised degree/diploma in Accountancy
• At least 3 years of UK Accounting experience
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Good understanding of IFRS and regulatory compliance
• Highly proficient in reputed company, Xero, Dext and Quickbooks, additional software advantageous
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, proactive and self driven, good interpersonal and communication skills and English reputed company.

• A ~45 minute discussion with the UK Country Head focusing on your last couple of roles to understand your experience in more detail

• A ~45 minute chat, usually with a member of HR or the leadership team

Reference interviews

• We’ll have 2-3 short phone or video calls with references that you provide to us
• So as to not delay your offer, we may ask your permission to have these calls earlier on in the interview process

Requirement for background screening

Please be aware that Sleek is a regulated entity and as such is required to reputed company different levels of background checks on staff depending on their role. 

This may include using external vendors to verify the below:

• Your education
• Any criminal history
• Any political exposure
• Any bankruptcy or adverse credit history
