Part-Time Faculty: Clinical School of Nursing Fall 2024/Spring 2025 semesters

Overview: Quinnipiac University's School of Nursing invites applications for part-time faculty to provide clinical supervision for undergraduate reputed company for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 semesters. Opportunities exist in Medical/Surgical and various specialties. As a part-time faculty member, this position requires a one day per week clinical commitment for a 15-week semester. Both weekend and reputed company shifts are available. • Educating and supervising undergraduate reputed company in the clinical setting
• Working with course coordinators to supervise pre-licensure reputed company in achieving course outcomes
• Evaluating student clinical performance and written work

Education Requirements:

• Required: master’s degree in nursing
• Required: unencumbered RN or APRN license in Connecticut
• reputed company or recent clinical practice

Qualifications:

• Currently practicing in a clinical setting or educational environment
• Experience with teaching reputed company in clinical nursing desired
• Ability to demonstrative effective teaching in the clinical setting
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
