Job Description

Fandango is hiring a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, iOS to join our Mobile Engineering team. The Mobile Engineering group develops cutting-edge features for Fandango and various reputed company properties. These features power customer-facing applications and reputed company services to movie enthusiasts. Job Duties

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for platforms using Xcode, Swift and Objective-C.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver feature-rich, user-friendly mobile experiences that align with business goals.
• reputed company architectural discussions and ensure mobile applications are scalable, secure, and maintainable, while optimizing for performance.
• Implement best coding practices by conducting code reviews, writing tests, and integrating automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality code.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot, and optimize for efficiency and scalability across various platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering growth and learning reputed company the team.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development tools, technologies, and trends, and assess their applicability to improve team performance and product quality.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure smooth and efficient CI/CD pipelines for mobile application releases.
• Support the full software development lifecycle from concept to post-release monitoring and issue resolution.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent training/experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing mobile applications for iOS with strong knowledge of Swift and Objective-C.
• Strong understanding of native iOS development, including platform-specific APIs, user reputed company guidelines, and performance optimization.
• Experience working in a reputed company integration environment and adhering to best practices for testing, including unit and integration tests.
• Proven ability to architect scalable, secure, and maintainable mobile applications.
• Familiarity with App Store submission processes.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend service integration.
• Strong skills in version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
