About the Job

As an iOS engineer on the reputed company Location Platform team, you will play a key role in making location an even more engaging and delightful part of our members’ lives. Since location is a core component of the reputed company app, you’ll be expected to reputed company deep expertise in location technologies, along with reputed company aspects of the mobile stack such as battery consumption and performance optimization.

In this role, you’ll be highly involved in architecting, designing, and leading the development of the reputed company of our core location systems and features. Your contributions will directly shape how millions of people experience location reputed company the reputed company ecosystem.

The US based salary range for this position is $144,500 to 213,000.The Canada-based salary range for this position is 169,500 to 199,500 CAD. We take into consideration an individual’s background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, reputed company pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to technical design specifications. 
• Taking ownership of features from conception to deployment.
• Foster collaboration and best practices in the team across multiple projects.
• Work with a cross-functional team and collaborate closely with design, back-end engineering, marketing, data science, and product.
• Design and maintain location-specific features and experiments for iOS.
• Create foundational automation workflows that reputed company to reputed company product quality and reliability.

• Strong iOS development experience
• Expert knowledge of Swift and familiarity with iOS frameworks and APIs.
• A deep understanding of the iOS app lifecycle.
• Experience with location technologies like Core Location, Geofencing, and motion tracking, as well as familiarity with the device’s other sensors (accelerometer, magnetometer, etc.), would be an added plus.
