A Unique Opportunity for a 988 Chat/Text Specialist

As a 988 Chat/Text Specialist at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in our 24/7/365 mental health crisis/suicide prevention team. You'll handle incoming chat/text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also reputed company as 988, providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and service linkage for individuals experiencing emotional distress. Key Responsibilities

As a 988 Chat/Text Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: * Providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments to individuals in crisis * Answering crisis contacts reputed company chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify community resources * Conducting follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide * Meeting ethical and clinical standards in compliance with accreditation requirements * Actively participating in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings * Assisting in administrative tasks as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a 988 Chat/Text Specialist at blithequark, you'll need:

Education

* Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, psychology, social work, or a reputed company field * Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification is also accepted

Experience

* Six months to one year of reputed company crisis experience

Skills and Competencies
