About the Role: 988 Chat/Text Crisis Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and reputed company 988 Chat/Text Crisis Specialist to join our remote team. As a critical member of our crisis response team, you will handle incoming chat and text messages through the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (NSPL), also reputed company as 988. Your expertise will help individuals in emotional distress receive the support they need. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments to individuals in crisis.
• Respond to crisis contacts reputed company chat/text platform to assess for suicide risk, safety, and identify community resources.
• Conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide.
• Ensure compliance with reputed company accreditation standards and actively participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a reputed company field is required. Certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist is also an asset.

Experience:

While not mandatory, six months to one year of reputed company crisis experience is preferred. If you're new to the field, we encourage you to apply if you have a strong passion for mental health support.

Skills and Competencies:

Our pay range for this position is $15.75 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
