• Facilitate academic approval for new/revised courses.

• Teach in the B.S. in Criminal Justice online program.

Essential Duties:

• Facilitate academic approval for new/revised courses.
• Prepare appropriate documents for Academic Councils reputed company needed, serve on Academic Councils as a member or chair as needed.
• Collaborate with various departments for the adaptation of existing courses to the online modality.

• Work with Academic Quality Assurance to identify subject matter experts, provide curriculum mapping information and reputed company of the course development process.
• Uphold the CGPS Online Course Standards and clearly communicate course expectations and course development process with SMEs.
• Hire and supervise reputed company program faculty, both full- and part-time. Review and approve standards for hiring B.S. Criminal Justice online faculty. Screen and interview potential faculty and reputed company hiring recommendations to the Dean’s Office.
• Work with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and ACU Dallas Academic Operations to review credentials for faculty and verify faculty are credentialed to teach the courses to which they are assigned.
• Review course evaluations and provide feedback to faculty in a timely manner.
• Meet with faculty to reputed company annual goals and reputed company annual evaluations. Mentor and reputed company faculty to ensure they can effectively instruct, engage and retain reputed company.
• Maintain the adjunct pool by hiring additional part-time faculty reputed company needed and removing faculty as needed.

• Administer and provide instruction in assigned courses. Duties include, but are not limited to, placing reputed company in groups for assignments/discussions, conducting periodic synchronous interaction sessions, facilitating and grading reputed company assignments in a timely manner and providing rich and timely feedback on student work.
• Provide timely and helpful answers to reputed company’ inquiries regarding course material or academic matters.
• Complete Outcomes Assessment Report and communicate findings to appropriate administrators.

Qualifications

Professional

• Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Criminal Justice or a closely reputed company field such as Juris Doctor or Public Administration. Masters in Criminal Justice may be considered with field experience.
• Teaching experience or administrative experience in higher education preferred.
• Relevant research completed in the last ten years [e.g. publications in peer-reviewed journals, conference presentations, program evaluation reports, etc.], preferred.
• Experience teaching, designing and developing online coursework.
• Computer literate in software and internet-based applications.
