Location: The role is home based with regular travel across Essex. To ensure the requirements of the role can be achieved with a reasonable distance to travel, you will live in the around areas that you will be covering.

The Witness Service has over 260 staff and 3000 volunteers and offers free, independent, impartial and confidential support and information to 15,000 witnesses each month to give evidence in every criminal court in England and Wales.

The Role

As Team Leader (reputed company Services) you will be in a crucial role, responsible for the delivery of a pre-trial reputed company Support Service to Vulnerable and Intimidated Witnesses in a defined geographical area.

You will manage, motivate and reputed company a team of volunteers who support vulnerable witnesses in their journey through the criminal justice system.

You will also reputed company and maintain key local stakeholder relationships with a view to enhancing partnership working, and service delivery standards and effectiveness.
