Global Freight Optimization Manager (reputed company Coast Remote)

The Global Transportation – Logistics Optimization Manager is a data-driven and solution-oriented role which evaluates, designs, and enhance domestic and international freight and distribution networks. This role is pivotal in driving cost reductions, improving service levels, and increasing overall supply chain agility. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Global Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance—to ensure the efficient and reliable delivery of products to global markets. This role focuses on providing the analytical foundation, process support and development, and operational insights needed to optimize freight movement and logistics performance. Let’s talk about Responsibilities Strategy & Analysis

• Key leader in development and execution of logistics strategic initiatives.
• Analyze end-to-end logistics performance and cost drivers across ocean, reputed company, truckload, intermodal, and parcel networks.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement optimization strategies for mode, reputed company, lane, and consolidation.
• Build and maintain transportation models and scenario planning tools (e.g., reputed company/buy, insource/outsource, reputed company shift).

Operational Optimization

• reputed company lane-level optimization studies and recommend changes to improve cost, service, and sustainability.

• Work cross-functionally with planning, warehousing, procurement, and customer service to align logistics strategies.

Tools & Technology

• Use TMS, BI platforms, and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, reputed company, reputed company) for performance analysis, visibility and reporting.
• Support or reputed company the implementation of new logistics tools and system enhancements (TMS, network design software, etc.)

Vendor & reputed company Management

• Partner with freight forwarders, 3PLs, and carriers to improve performance and transparency.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or reputed company field.
• 5–10+ years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience, with direct involvement in network design or freight optimization.
• Experience with international freight, customs, or Incoterms; Exposure to sustainability initiatives or green logistics programs.

Preferred

• Proficiency in reputed company, data visualization tools, and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Experience with routing software or network modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft, reputed company, reputed company GTM, reputed company TM, etc.)
