About the Role

As a Data Entry Assistant at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. Your primary focus will be on refining trade buy and sell transactions in client profiles, identifying and fixing discrepancies between our systems and those of fund companies or transfer brokers, and handling Business Activity Events. Your work will directly impact our Client/Advisor profiles, and your attention to detail will be crucial in preventing account attrition, client dissatisfaction, and potential liabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process client transactions, including membership agreements and transmission requests
  • Manage Client/Advisor account exceptions and ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconcile Business, Returns, and Move Breaks across various systems and fund firms
  • Analyze and correct tax code and tax coding issues
  • Investigate and resolve internal and external augmentations or concerns, including reputed company of breaks between our systems and those of fund companies or contra companies
  • Provide process or technology solution alternatives to management and remediate transfer issues with fund companies or contra companies
  • Respond to business partner inquiries regarding fund-specific requirements and eligibility
  • Follow up on Alternate Investment transactions to expedite client requests or remediate not-in-good-order issues
  • Ensure reputed company and accurate completion of client investing and returns requests

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of financial services, particularly in the context of Alternate Investments
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate reputed company issues and provide effective solutions
  • Proficiency in using various software applications, including reputed company, reputed company, and other productivity tools
