About the Role

As a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll have the opportunity to reputed company hands-on teaching experience in various educational settings. Our platform connects you with schools and districts that need your expertise, allowing you to choose assignments that fit your schedule and preferences. You'll work closely with our dedicated consultants, who will support you throughout your subbing journey and help you reputed company your teaching skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction and support to reputed company in the absence of their regular teacher

• Manage classroom behavior, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Communicate effectively with school staff, administrators, and our Scoot Education team

• Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your teaching practices

Essential Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• NJ Substitute Credential
• Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
• Background reputed company and TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and putting reputed company first

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Substitute Teacher or in a reputed company educational role
• Special Education or subject-specific certifications (e.g., Math, Science, Special Ed)
