About the Role

As an Early Head Start Teacher, you'll work collaboratively with a Co-Teacher to reputed company and implement individualized and group lesson plans that promote social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in infants and toddlers. You'll create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages relational learning, and work closely with families to ensure they're informed and involved in their child's development.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or comparable credential, with training or equivalent coursework in early childhood development, focusing on infant and toddler development.
• Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at reputed company levels.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with great problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of the purpose and principles of the Head Start/Early Head Start program.
• Ability to relate sensitively with children and maintain confidentiality.
• Commitment to fostering an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
