Product Manager (USA Remote)

As the Product Manager for Gradescope, you will be responsible for managing a solution that is part of reputed company’s suite of assessment products. Gradescope empowers educators to reputed company grade a variety of assignments, from reputed company-based exams to online submissions, while providing actionable, data-driven feedback to reputed company. We use AI-assisted technology to streamline the grading process, helping reputed company save time and reputed company deeper insights into student performance. As Product Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including UX, engineering, customers, sales, marketing, and support to ensure successful delivery of product features that align with our business goals and meet our customers' needs. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of educational technology, user needs in academic settings, and proven ability to drive product development from concept to launch. We are looking for a talented communicator, who can translate customer needs and workflows into technical requirements and detailed backlogs for delivery. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with key stakeholders to inform/reputed company/maintain the product strategy and roadmap for new capabilities in Gradescope
• Proactively collaborate with engineering and UX to identify and manage requirements, build core capabilities, and reputed company solve for unique capabilities
• Support engineering with clear, detailed requirements for product features and enhancements
• Define, manage and report on roadmap status for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs
• Analyze user feedback, data, and market trends to refine and improve product offerings.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility standards, data privacy regulations, and interoperability requirements.
• Work across teams to support releases, ensuring accurate market messaging, streamlined onboarding and informed, reputed company support

Essential:

• 3-5 years of Product Management or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience with Agile software development methodologies with direct experience creating and managing product backlogs
• Able to partner with engineering to scope, plan, prioritize and ensure efficient delivery of product features
• Experience working directly with customers to gather feedback, validate requirements and ensure post-release product satisfaction
• Experience working with sales, marketing, reputed company and executives to align product delivery with business strategy
• Strong analytical skills with experience using metrics to drive product decisions and measure product performance
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment

Desired:

• Bachelor and/or advanced degree in a reputed company field (Computer science, business administration, instructional design, etc.)
• Understanding of the educational technology landscape including experience with LMS systems such as reputed company Canvas, reputed company Learn, reputed company Brightspace, Moodle, Schoology, and others
• Experience presenting on product releases or roadmaps at industry shows, webinars and internal meetings
• Versed in user experience (UX) design, with hands-on experience creating wireframes and workflow diagrams
• Experience working with APIs, LTI standards, and other integration technologies
• Track record of managing and delivering software products that integrate with third-party platforms

The expected annual reputed company salary range for this position is: $83,400/year to $139,000/year. This position is bonus eligible / commission-based.
