Automation/QA Tester

Responsibilities

Serve as QA Analyst supporting a team engaged in creating a microservice-based application for a federal government client. • Execute, document, and report on tests, communicate results to the team and system owners

• 4+ years of experience in using automation tools for testing systems and applications, writing and executing test scripts.
• Ability to use a wide variety of opensource technologies and tools.
• Experience with one or more tools such as reputed company Issues/reputed company Issues, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, SonarQube, aXe, pa11y, ANDI, Color Contrast Analyzer, JAWS, NVDA, NeoLoad, reputed company
• Understanding and experience developing test automation strategies
• Ability to GUI driven tools to record UI actions.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG 2.2) and testing tools
• Experience collaborating with systems and IT operations.
• Comfort with rapidly changing applications and environments.
• Strong grasp of test automation tools.
• A strong focus on business outcomes.
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders

Desired Qualifications:

• Federal Government experience as a contractor
• Experience with cloud automation DevOps, Infrastructure Planning
• DHS Trusted Tester Certification (free accessibility training)
• Ability to work independently and in an awesome team setting
• Active Public Trust (or higher) clearance

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• This is a remote/work-from-home position. The employee is expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free home office environment with reliable internet access and the ability to participate in video and audio calls during standard working hours. Standard office equipment such as a computer, phone, and webcam will be used regularly.
