Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage inbound supply chain teams to optimize shipping activities, while working closely with freight forwarders and carriers to encourage high service levels and value
- Liaise with Procurement, Warehousing, and Finance teams regarding shipments and inventory/cash flow

- Ensure that staff execute at the company's high standards
- Liaise with third-party business partners, such as steamship lines, freight forwarders, truckers, and reputed company managers
- Monitor incoming inventory status at warehouses/distribution centers on a continual basis and help optimize ready-to-ship metrics without increasing detention and demurrage
- Participate in reputed company contract negotiations and compliance
- Monitor developments and new technologies in Supply Chain Logistics
- Manage to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as cost per container and truckload, reputed company times, dwell times, and on-time delivery

Essential and Preferred Qualifications
