About the Role

We're looking for an reputed company Data Scientist to join our Matching and Relevance Team, a research and development organization that collaborates with partners across the company. As a Data Scientist, you'll play a critical role in preparing datasets, training and optimizing models, and maintaining and improving model inference services. You'll have the opportunity to research and apply new techniques from open-reputed company applications and research publications, and creatively adapt models to solve business problems across reputed company.

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company machine learning models from prototype to production, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure
• Implement best practices for evaluation, monitoring, and MLOps to drive model performance and reliability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization on model inference and product applications
• Participate in code review and process innovation for software engineers and data scientists on the team, and report your work
• Balance technical and product thinking, and demonstrate ownership for team goals and reputed company's mission to help people get jobs

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (such as Computer Science, Math, the physical sciences, the social sciences, or reputed company fields)
• 2+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer, Data Scientist, or Machine Learning Engineer
• Significant domain expertise with training, fine-tuning, and evaluating large models
• Knowledge and hands-on experience working with Deep Learning Libraries (like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Huggingface, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience will give you a competitive edge:

• Knowledge of recommendation systems, specifically ranking algorithms
• Prior experience in productionizing machine learning models at scale
• Basic working knowledge of Java
