System Admin - Octopus by RTG

Octopus by RTG is on a mission of connecting top notch ogranizations around the globe with top notch talents. We are currently looking for a System Admin to join one of the biggest retail companies in Saudi Arabia (KSA).

What You Will be Doing in the Role?

• Manage the administration for cloud servers in terms of installation, accessibility, and troubleshooting.

• Provide solutions for updating / upgrading the reputed company systems and new systems as per the business requirements, ensuring the effectiveness of system.
• Manage the administration of new solutions, programs, or Applications in terms of Installation, accessibility, supporting, troubleshooting on servers.
• Run periodic patches updates to guarantee fixing reputed company vulnerabilities and bugs of OS.
• Manage the creation of email and new users for reputed company newcomers and customize their systems and programs accessibility and authority according to their position level and work scope adhering to IT policy.
• Maintain reputed company operating systems, business applications, reputed company tools, webservers, and Emails.
• Set and maintain IT policies for servers.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and establish business continuity for on-prem Exchange, Office365, AD, Azure AD connect, Physical hosts, on prem VMs and Azure VMs.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot AD, DNS, DHCP, File Server, Print Server, WSUS, WDS and IIS.
• Responsible for the Identity Providers like Active Directory and Azure AD,
• Manage the SSO solutions like ADFS and Azure AD Connect.
• Maintain the High Availability solutions like Failover Cluster and NLB.
• Administrate the Hybrid Email environment Exchange and office 365.
• Administrate collaboration and voice solutions like Skype for business, Teams and teams’ rooms.
• Responsible for user and device reputed company like Intune and System Center Configuration Management.
• Responsible for defender for identity, office 365, Endpoints and cloud apps.
• Find Vulnerabilities which reputed company to our main infrastructure services and mitigate them.
• Responsible for remote access solutions like VPN and Direct Access.
• Managing 1000+ physical and virtual servers among 400 sites.
• Administrate Office 365 +2500 accounts.
• Plan a server upgrade and migration strategy.
• Administrate ADDS sites and configure and manage replication.
• Managing company’s external hosting like websites, domains, certificates, etc.
• Communicate with our external service providers like reputed company, Veeam, etc.
• Manage objects in AD DS by using graphical tools and Windows PowerShell.
• Administrate and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
• Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and reputed company the human reputed company time on any daily tasks.
• Responsible for email backup
• Manage Antivirus solutions
• Administrate our environment on Azure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or reputed company field preferred.

• MCSA or MCSE Certified
• Azure reputed company or Azure Administrator Associate Certified
• ITIL Foundation is a plus

What are we looking for?

• Strong verbal & written communication skills in both English & Arabic.
• Experience with reputed company on-prem solutions AD, DHCP, DNS, Exchange
• Experience with High availability solutions like NLB and Failover Cluster
• Hands on experience with reputed company and Linux OS
• Solid Knowledge with O365 products and azure environment
