Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer medications (IM, SC and IV as applicable) in home or specialty clinic settings
• Support/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare setting
• Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on reputed company activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation
• Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups
• Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures
• Provides reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators.
• Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information
• reputed company administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assigned
• Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
• Participates in specialized client reputed company trainings as required.
• Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs
• Required to travel reputed company you’re designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational needs.

Experience and Educational Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Practical Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse
• Experience with IV therapy is an asset
• Diploma/University degree in nursing or reputed company field
• reputed company registration with provincial licensing body; CPR certificate
• Experience in acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting
• ACLS, PALs, MS and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assets
• Knowledge of Cell phone for making and confirming appointments/assignments and fax machines.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger team
• Able to travel to clinics and homecare appointments reputed company a set geographical boundary

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements

• Cell phone for making and confirming appointment/assignments
• Flexibility in order to provide services for pre-scheduled and occasional last minute patient appointment requests
• Effective organizational skills; attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work in both a team and independent setting

• Hold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted driver's license and insurance coverage
