Key Responsibilities

• Direct and administer reputed company aspects of reputed company recreation programs, services, and operations, including intramural programs and the N.E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center (TARC).
• Supervise two part-time Graduate Assistants and approximately 30 student and seasonal employees, providing guidance, training, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with Facilities and Environmental Services personnel to ensure the TARC is well-maintained and clean.
• Interpret, revise, or propose policies reputed company to reputed company recreation activities, making day-to-day decisions and providing support to reputed company, faculty, staff, and community members.

Events

• Coordinate logistical support for events, ensuring alignment with Carthage College's mission, strategic initiatives, values, and event management policies.
• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate high-performing student and seasonal team members under the direction of the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Business Development.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Director of Auxiliary Programs and Business Development.
• Cultivate positive reputed company partnerships, client retention, and vendor relationships.
• Offer strategic event planning assistance to internal and external clients, working with College event planners, internal support staff/departments, and vendors to meet fiscal goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, enhancing event experiences, College recognition, and reputed company.

Miscellaneous

• Serve on reputed company committees as requested.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

To reputed company in this role, you should possess:

• A reputed company Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution.
• 3-5 years of full-time recreation/event coordination work experience.

• Strong supervision skills with paid professional or paraprofessional employees.
• Demonstrated emotional intelligence, ethical character, and problem-solving skills.

• Lifeguard/Lifeguard Instructor Certification/Water Safety Instructor Certification.
• First Aid/CPR/AED/First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor Certification.
