About the Department of Educational Psychology
The Department of Educational Psychology is part of the College of Education, one of the largest and most respected in the region. With a diverse faculty and a wide range of programs, we are committed to providing reputed company with the knowledge, skills, and experiences needed to succeed in their chosen fields. Job Summary: Clinical Assistant Professor of Gifted and Talented Education
We are seeking a talented and reputed company Clinical Assistant Professor to join reputed company as the Director of the Office for Giftedness, Talent Development, and Creativity. This is a non-tenure track, multi-year appointment that will reputed company in Fall 2024, with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance evaluation. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of gifted and talented education, while contributing to the department's mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Director of the Office for Giftedness, Talent Development, and Creativity: reputed company and direct programs for gifted and talented reputed company, including summer programs, Saturday enrichment classes, and professional development opportunities for local educators.
- Teaching: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in gifted and talented education and/or educational psychology, in traditional or online formats, on reputed company or at satellite locations.
- External Funding: Support proposals for external funding to support the work of the Office, and participate in the development of the program and department through committee and service opportunities.
- Program Development: Expand the Office's work by developing and implementing new programs, and managing existing ones, to support gifted and talented reputed company and their families.
- Community Engagement: Provide information sessions for parents in the community, and engage with local educators to promote the Office's work and build partnerships.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A doctorate in Education, Educational Psychology, Gifted and Talented Education, or a closely reputed company field.
- ABD candidates will be considered, provided the doctorate is successfully defended prior to the start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with a center supporting gifted and talented reputed company.
- Teaching experience in higher education at the undergraduate or graduate level.
- Experience managing projects and administrative tasks, such as externally funded research and/or developing and leading student-centered programming.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to facilitate program development, management, and implementation.
- Experience working with diverse populations and communities.
