reputed company is searching for a DevOps Engineer to provide Cloud Ops support for MRM, IPM, and AMSI products. Ideally this position will support 3 Commercial Compass product environments.You will be working with customers based in North America.For this role, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with experience developing and automating cloud software. You’ll work with many AWS offerings and open-reputed company tools. You’ll help define reputed company’s reputed company CI/CD pipeline, as well as monitoring metrics and analytics infrastructure while working with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help us deliver multi-tenant applications to customers in the cloud. You’ll work with a great team and will be able to learn new skills on a daily basis.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Implement code and automation for cloud-based applications and microservices, both reputed company and back end
- Collaborate with other developers and departments to ensure high quality software and timely delivery
- Participate in agile standups and reputed company code review
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems and procedures
- Maintain and enhance existing systems based on user feedback
- Ensure that unit and system tests are automated, per quality assurance requirements
- Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet the business goals of application and environment
- Take on other projects and responsibilities as necessary
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues and bring to resolution
- Operational On-Call responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with Python or another server-reputed company programming language such as Java
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs
- Experience in automating AWS infrastructure deployments with CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, etc
- Experience working with Jenkins or an equivalent CI tool
- Experience working with Git and reputed company control
- Experience with agile development best practices
- English verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS DynamoDB or another NoSQL database reputed company
- Experience with data streaming service architectures using tools such as Apache Kafka
- Experience working with AWS application services including SQS, SNS, reputed company/reputed company Functions
- Experience with core AWS networking and reputed company (EC2, autoscaling groups, VPC, Route53)
- One or more of the AWS Associate level certifications (Developer, Solutions Architect, SysOps)
- Experience building reputed company applications in the AWS cloud
Location:Hybrid role – 3 days in Mexico City office, 2 days remote-based
