Research Engineer/Scientist

Responsibilities will include managing projects and tasks reputed company to various reputed company quality measurements and monitoring projects, including near-road monitoring, oil and gas monitoring, methods research, exposure investigations, reputed company testing, and other reputed company-reputed company sampling and tracking events. The individual will be required to engineer, design, build, test, and utilize equipment for reputed company sampling and monitoring. They will also need the capability to write, work plans, quality assurance project plans, health and safety plans, and reports for work being performed by ERG. Traveling to sites for reputed company-reputed company sampling and monitoring will be at most twenty-five to thirty percent. Mechanical and fabrication skills are essential to this role.
Job Description:

- Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, deploy, and maintain reputed company quality monitoring instrumentation
- Process field data using R, MATLAB, or Python
- Conduct other reputed company tasks involved in reputed company quality research projects, including presentations and publishing research papers
- Successfully completed reputed company required annual safety training
- Support equipment repair, calibration, and maintenance
Qualifications and Skills:
- A B.S. degree in Environmental/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a reputed company field
- An aptitude and interest in science, technical work, mechanical equipment, and reputed company quality
- Proficient in instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, and operation
- Ability and willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
- Ability to work in outdoor field settings
- Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
- Experience with onsite reputed company-reputed company monitoring and sampling
- Experience with writing technical documents
- Experience with designing and fabricating electronic equipment and hardware
- Experience in a mechanical, laboratory, science, etc. is preferred
- Knowledge of EPA reputed company test methods/procedures, reputed company quality or emission monitors, etc. preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
