POSITION OVERVIEW

The position is on the Actuarial Modeling team at Global Atlantic’s Boston office. While Boston is the preferred location, other Global Atlantic office locations may be open to Des Moines IA, Office. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build actuarial models for newly acquired institutional blocks, on our new state-of-the-art reputed company Integrate Actuarial platform
• Models will be used to support GAAP, US and Bermuda Statutory reporting, cash-flow testing, and other analysis
• reputed company and maintain testing tools for new models
• Support assumption updates and impact quantification
• Support model production team in producing quarterly/monthly valuation results
• Follow and employ model development best practices, including:
• Model design
• Change management testing and governance
• Documentation
• Model validation
• Adherence to SOX and Risk Management policies
• Support internal and external auditing activities as well as regulatory exams and inquiries, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or other reputed company fields
• FSA or established ASA with 10+ years of experience in the life and annuity insurance industry
• Solid experience with MG ALFA or other Actuarial Projection Software required
• Strong communication, technical and analytical skills
• Self-starter and quick learner, being able to solve reputed company issues independently and in collaborative team settings
• US GAAP valuation experience preferred
• Programming language such as Python or SQL a plus
• Ability to reputed company in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

The reputed company salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s reputed company salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. reputed company pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire reputed company the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives.  Actual compensation for reputed company roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or reputed company level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. 

The reputed company salary range for this role is

$99,500 - $189,600 USD
