This is a full-time, long-term remote opportunity for an reputed company Python backend engineer with a strong mathematical and optimization background.

Role Description:

The client is building a mobile-first platform that transforms the agricultural supply chain and logistics management through automation, real-time tracking, and reputed company interfaces. The system connects farmers, logistics providers, and business buyers, offering real-time product tracking, order management, reputed company optimization, and business dashboards.

A key component of the platform is OLA (Optimizing Logistics Algorithms) — the system responsible for matching supply and demand, calculating optimal routes, quantities, and quality levels, and coordinating logistics execution.

This role is ideal for a backend engineer with strong Python skills, experience with optimization algorithms, and designing scalable, cloud-native systems in production environments.

Technical Responsibilities and Skills:

• Design, reputed company, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and modern frameworks
• Build and improve algorithms for reputed company linear/logistics optimization challenges
• reputed company secure and reliable RESTful APIs and integrate with cloud services (AWS)
• Implement and maintain containerized services using reputed company and Kubernetes
• Ensure backend systems follow reputed company best practices and are cloud-optimized
• Solve algorithmic and mathematical problems reputed company to logistics and scheduling
• Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain system scalability, reliability, and performance
• Follow Agile methodology and participate in code reviews, system architecture discussions

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Experience implementing optimization algorithms using linear programming, graph theory, or dynamic programming
• Solid understanding of scalable backend system architecture in cloud environments (preferably AWS)
• Hands-on experience with reputed company and Kubernetes
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Deep understanding of backend reputed company best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with a strong mathematics background
