Assistant Bookkeeper

Isogent Partners, a growing Managed IT Services Provider (MSP) based in Plano, TX, is looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper to support our finance and operations team. What You’ll Do: As our Assistant Bookkeeper, you’ll play a key role in maintaining the financial integrity of the company. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including AP/AR, coding expenses, and reconciling accounts.
• Generating and managing client invoices for recurring services, projects, and cloud/software subscriptions.
• Tracking outstanding balances and following up on payments to support healthy cash flow.
• Supporting payroll preparation and financial reporting processes.
• Maintaining accurate financial documentation and assisting with audits or discrepancies.
• Collaborating with the Director of Business Operations and other departments to resolve financial issues.
• Providing occasional admin support to help the team run efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop and intermediate-level Excel
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity
• Bonus: Experience working in an MSP or with recurring/subscription billing

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• Familiarity with payroll processing and cloud-based financial tools a plus
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
