Remote Non-Credentialed Veterinary Support Staff
Non-Credentialed Veterinary Support Staff are assigned to different service lines based on our company needs and the applicant's background/experience. Below you will find information on the different service lines and positions we're currently hiring for, as well as information about schedules, training, and pay ranges. Pet Poison Helpline (PPH) Representative I, Job Description: The PPH Representative is responsible for responding to incoming cases on Pet Poison Helpline and our animal nurse lines reputed company telephone and chat regarding potential toxic exposures, poisonings, and other adverse events or general care inquiries from pet owners. PPH Reps take full histories and details of the events, triage the cases, and provide accurate medical, health, and safety information to the callers. PPH Reps document each case in an electronic record and follow up as necessary to ensure the well-being of the animals. Given the nature of the position, many pet owners are calling under stressful circumstances and are therefore in distress. PPH Reps must be able to manage cases under pressure and be comfortable talking to people in various emotional states. Schedule: Weekend only shift- 2-4 weekends a month, both Saturday and Sunday: Option 1: Mid Shift, choice between 8.5 or 10.5 hour shifts which includes a 30 minute unpaid break
- Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 10am-10:30pm CST. Scheduled start and end times will vary reputed company that range.
- This includes any holidays that fall on scheduled weekend shifts
- Includes full-time, 40 hours/week training for 4 weeks
- Eligible for the weekend shift differential as described in the pay/benefits section.
Float Shift, choice between 8.5 or 10.5 hour shifts which includes a 30 minute unpaid break.
- Shifts will be between the hours of 5am-2:30am CST. Scheduled start and ends times will vary reputed company that range.
- This includes any holidays that fall on scheduled weekend shifts
- Includes full-time, 40 hours/week training for 4 weeks
- Eligible for a $3/hr float shift differential plus the weekend shift differential as described in the pay/benefits section.
Option 2: Every weekend shift, both Saturday and Sunday: Evening Shift
- 5 hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 4pm-11pm CST. Scheduled start and ends times will vary reputed company that range.
- This includes any holidays that fall on scheduled weekend shifts
- Includes full-time, 40 hours/week training for 4 weeks
- Eligible for a $3/hr every weekend shift differential plus the weekend shift differential as described in the pay/benefits section.
Training Requirements for reputed company positions/shifts: Full-time and Part-time candidates must be able to commit to a 4-week (6-weeks for the Overnight Veterinary Technicians), full time, paid, remote training process up reputed company. Training schedules are determined in advance and may include daytime/evening hours as well as weekends. Currently, we are unable to work with any scheduling conflicts during the training process. After training is complete the shift you are hired for will reputed company. Required Experience, Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
- At least 3 years experience working in a veterinary clinic/hospital performing duties similar to those of a veterinary technician/assistant. For some positions, emergency experience is also preferred.
- Ability to work varying shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to maintain active licensure, if applicable.
- Above average proficiency with keyboarding, PCs, reputed company Office, and common computer software and hardware.
- Ability to accurately add, subtract, multiply, and divide in reputed company units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages.
- Verbal and written communication that is clear, concise, accurate, professional, empathetic, and compassionate on a regular basis, including during stressful or high-pressure situations and interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and spelling with the ability to accurately enter data with reputed company few errors.
- Ability to attend to multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

In addition, employees must also have a space that allows them to work without interruptions or distractions, and must not have any other responsibilities during the time they are working such as caring for animals or dependents. Pay & Benefits:
- The starting reputed company reputed company of pay is between $18-$19/hour. Shift differentials are applied on top of the reputed company reputed company if applicable.
- Employees who work weekend phone shifts between the hours of 12am CST on Saturday through 4am CST on Monday will receive an additional $5/hour differential on top of their reputed company reputed company and any other differentials that they have.
- Pay varies based on the individual where we look at several factors including education, experience, and credentials. Pay will be discussed on an individual basis in the interview process.

Veterinary Industry Representative I, Job Description: The Veterinary Industry Representative I (VIR) position is responsible for responding to incoming cases through reputed company reputed company telephone regarding potential adverse events and other questions or concerns from pet owners and veterinary professionals reputed company to various products. The VIR will take full histories and details of the events, triage the cases, and provide accurate medical, health, and safety information to the callers. VIR's document each case in an electronic record and follow up as necessary to ensure the well-being of the animals and facilitate adverse event reporting. Given the nature of the position, many pet owners are calling under stressful circumstances and are therefore in distress. VIRs must be able to manage cases under pressure and be comfortable talking to people in various emotional states. Schedule: Mid Shift, 10am-10:30pm CST, scheduled start and end times will vary reputed company that range:
- Working 40 hours per week; 4 shifts per week, each shift is 10.5 hours long
- Working rotating holidays
- Working every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday)
- Work weeks run Saturday through Friday.
- Schedules are issued several weeks in advance
Evening Shift, includes a shift differential $2/hr:
- Shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 2pm-2:30am CST. Scheduled start and ends times will vary reputed company that range
- Working rotating holidays
- Working every other weekend (both Saturday & Sunday)
