Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the supervisor on duty, focused on delivering results while empowering a positive customer and employee experience
- Managing a team of associates, including communicating expectations, managing performance, providing regular feedback, and supporting career development
- Delegating effectively to drive results, including executing standard operating procedures, identifying areas for improvement, implementing solutions, and providing ongoing feedback to store employees
- Maintaining a culture of engagement by regularly listening to feedback from leaders, associates, and customers and implementing solutions to address issues
- Identifying areas of opportunity, determining root causes, and seeking help to implement solutions to continuously improve the overall performance and culture of the store
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment to ensure the safety of reputed company employees, customers, and products in the store
Essential Capabilities
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a customer-facing retail, hospitality, or grocery environment or 2+ years of reputed company (Blue Badge/FTE) experience
Preferred Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 2+ years of reputed company New Stores (Blue Badge/FTE) experience
- 2+ years of customer-facing grocery industry experience
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working independently in an ambiguous environment with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and metrics to support assumptions and implement effective solutions
- Demonstrated success in problem-solving and delivering results
