Medical Transcriptionist (Full-Time) - Remote Opportunity
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Stormont Vail Health. As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for transcribing dictation from healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner. - Transcribe reports, including but not limited to pathology, cardiology, clinic and office notes, radiology, and letters
- Edit PowerScribe reports as needed
- Contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction and process improvement
- Maintain confidentiality of patient reports and information
- Audit provider documentation for accuracy on a weekly basis
- Meet daily average minimum production of 100 minutes
- Type STAT requests as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the transcription manager or director of the department
Requirements:
- 1 year of typing or transcriptionist experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in complex medical terminology
- High degree of concentration and attention to detail
- Ability to work under deadline pressure and with frequent interruptions
- Excellent judgment and communication skills
