Job Summary

As an Operations Manager Trainee, you will be responsible for leading and developing teams, driving financial performance and sales growth, and providing exceptional customer service. You will work closely with store associates, supervisors, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives, implement company initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
  • Drive financial performance and sales growth by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing expenses, and implementing business solutions
  • Provide exceptional customer service by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model and resolving customer complaints and issues
  • Develop and implement action plans to correct deficiencies, mitigate shrink, and achieve sales and profit goals
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of college or 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership
  • Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
  • General work experience in retail or a related field
