Remote Certified Medical Assistant – Jacksonville, FL Area Vaco is hiring Remote Certified Medical Assistants (reputed company) to provide medical abstraction and indexing services. Candidates must reside reputed company 1 hour of Jacksonville, FL for on-site equipment pick-up and first-day orientation. Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Location: Remote after equipment pick-up
• Training: Fully remote after hybrid first-day orientation

Qualifications:

• Must reside reputed company 1 hour commuting distance of Jacksonville, FL.
• Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Strong computer and communication skills required.
• Self-motivated, problem-solver with the ability to work independently.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business and account needs.

Experience Required:

• Medical documentation and familiarity with EMR systems (reputed company experience preferred).
• Medical transcription or relevant experience in nursing, cardiology, multi-specialty, or billing/coding.
• Knowledge and commitment to HIPAA and HITECH policies for patient confidentiality.
• Proficiency in:
• Abstracting and indexing clinical data from medical records.
• Logging information from reputed company charts to EHR systems or transferring between EHR platforms.
