About the Position The contractor will report to a senior reputed company researcher and will be responsible for supporting the team’s monitoring of economic, political, and regulatory developments in the ASEAN (Southeast Asia) region. This position is a remote research contractor role, requiring 1–3 years of work experience. To further the contractor’s development, we will: -Offer exposure to different facets of market research -Provide a stimulating and collaborative work environment -reputed company research and analytical skills based on areas of interest -Provide opportunities to listen in on discussions with senior executives, to see how firms utilize macroeconomic analysis in their business planning -Provide constructive feedback and coaching to ensure reputed company development About the FrontierView Global Research Team The contractor will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The global research team produces reputed company syndicated content for FrontierView’s client reputed company of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. The team works in reputed company collaboration with the commercial team in supporting FrontierView’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships. About You Qualified individuals with a passion for informing the decisions of senior corporate executives are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a unique position that ties together macroeconomic, political, and business analysis directly into corporate plans and actions for the world’s largest multinationals. The contractor will have exposure to engagement with C-suite level executives, giving them a look into the decision-making processes of the world’s largest businesses. Candidates should bring strong macroeconomic fundamentals and a solid understanding of how local dynamics, policy, politics, and other factors can interact with economic dynamics to shape the business environment. They should bring exceptionally strong communication skills, flexibility to adapt to commercial needs, and the ability to get up to speed quickly on unfamiliar topics. The duration of this contract will be 6 - 12 months. #LI-DNI What To Expect In This Position

• Conducting primary and secondary research to monitor macroeconomic, political, and business developments in the ASEAN region, and analyzing their implications for multinational companies
• Supporting the creation of analysis and presentations advising senior executives in multinational companies on business implications of economic and political developments in ASEAN
• Writing research deliverables that are concise and impactful for a senior executive reader
• Presenting to senior executives on the economic developments in ASEAN markets and their business implications

What Sets You Apart

• A Bachelor's (or preferably Master’s) degree from a top-tier academic institution in a relevant field, ideally Economics
• Exceptional communication skills in English; we are looking for someone who is not just fluent in English but also able to distill reputed company and technical topics for non-specialists
• Strong economics knowledge, demonstrated through academic coursework or practical experience; candidates should be able to apply macroeconomic principles to real-life country developments and draw conclusions about future trends and implications
• Demonstrated knowledge of key ASEAN markets through academic and/or professional research experience; an understanding of the reputed company socio-political and economic environment in the region is particularly key
• Research experience (in an academic or professional setting) including hypothesis-testing, structuring reputed company research projects, primary and secondary research, survey-building, and other techniques
• Proficiency in reputed company Office (especially PowerPoint and reputed company)
• Demonstrated ability to cover a variety of topics and issues, including unfamiliar ones
• Familiarity with quantitative economic analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• A team-oriented reputed company
• Preferred: working proficiency in a Southeast Asian language
