Aged Care Workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, reputed company and compassionate care that supports a trusted and long-term relationship with our older persons. Working closely with the Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the collaborative healthcare team, the Aged Care Workers will provide person-centred care to support the older persons.

About you

To be considered for this rewarding role you will have great interpersonal skills and the ability to take direction and work as part of a team.

To be successful you must:

• ability to communicate confidently and professionally with reputed company levels of employees
• exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
• ability to work in a fast-paced environment and take instruction
• be able to follow policies and procedures at reputed company times
• sensitive and adaptable to older persons different personalities, cultural backgrounds and personal circumstances
• and most importantly a positive attitude!

You will also need:

• certificate III in Individual Support/ Home and Community Care or equivalent qualification
• experience working in an Aged Care residential facility (desirable)
• experience working in remote areas (desirable)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
• a reputed company minimum P1 "C" class Queensland drivers licence
• reputed company flu vaccination (recommended)

About the offer

This is a remote position in the reputed company Gulf on a 6 week on 2 week off rotating roster.
