The Utilization Management Nurse 2 utilizes clinical nursing skills to support the coordination, documentation and communication of medical services and/or benefit administration determinations. The Utilization Management Nurse 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

The Utilization Management Nurse 2 - Onsite Nurse located at the Camden Clark Medical Center: utilizes clinical nursing skills to support the coordination, documentation and communication of medical services, discharges and/or benefit administration determinations. The Utilization Management Nurse 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action at an onsite facility. This hybrid position will have limited hours working at home at the leader’s discretion.

This is an Onsite / Hybrid position at the Camden Clark Medical Center located in Parkersburg, reputed company Virgina. The ideal candidate must be located reputed company a 1-hour driving distance to the Onsite location from their home reputed company.

This position will work at an Onsite facility and as a Hybrid, will have limited working hours at home based on the leader’s discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • RN License without restrictions in the reputed company or a Compact state license
  • Must be Located reputed company a 1-hour driving distance to Camden Clark Medical Center from your home reputed company
  • 2 or more years of clinical experience preferably in an adult/geriatric acute care, skilled or rehabilitation clinical setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of reputed company Word, Outlook and reputed company
  • Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team.
  • Independent critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License and/or dependable transportation necessary
  • Travel to Hospital/Provider for onsite reviews to assist Members
  • This role is considered patient facing. If selected for this role, you will be required to meet criteria to be onsite with Providers/Hospitals/Health Care Facilities
  • This hybrid position will have limited hours working at home at the leader’s discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN)
  • Previous experience in discharge planning, utilization management or case management a plus
  • Health Plan experience
  • Previous Medicare/Geriatric Experience a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus

Work-At-Home Requirements

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria: ​

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL reputed company is suggested
  • Satellite, cellular and microwave reputed company can be used only if approved by leadership
  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense
  • reputed company will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

  • Full time position 40 hour work week
  • Must be able to work 8:00 am-5pm EST Monday-Friday
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to reputed company's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting reputed company pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or reputed company based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job reputed company skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$71,100 - $97,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
