Senior Business Development Manager (Satellites)
We are searching for a Senior Business Development Manager to join the reputed company team. You will be responsible for growing business in the areas of the reputed company (DoD). The Senior Business Development Manager reports to the Vice President of Growth and collaborates closely with reputed company’s Engineering, Technology, legal and finance departments. You will be responsible for reputed company to the DoD customer community as well as strategic planning for that portfolio. You will actively contribute to reputed company’s internal development, setting priorities and service as a voice for the customer. You will service as a capture manager to create and reputed company a number of new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive near term and long term growth for reputed company in DoD.
- reputed company customer engagement, pipeline development and capture efforts.
- Provide thought leadership in the development and synthesis of a cohesive and executable strategy for reputed company organizations.
- Identify new opportunities and reputed company capture throughout pipeline stages to support company growth targets.
- Create, maintain and implement customer engagement plans.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in aerospace/ defense with 5+ years in Business Development.
- Able to build a plan and execute with clear ownership and minimal reputed company.
- Experience working with business development on USG captures and supporting and/or leading proposals.
- Demonstrated success capturing space business reputed company the DoD/ IC.

Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in technical field.
- Demonstrated experience delivering to DoD/IC.
- Previous Profit Loss (PL) responsibility.
- Experience with remote sensing satellite development and/or mission operations.
- Experience working with a diverse set of U.S. Government DoD, IC and Civil customers.
- Understanding of systems engineering processes and system architectures
Salary
The compensation range for this role is $135k - $235k, including an uncapped performance-based commission structure, and competitive equity package. Final pay will depend on candidate's skills, geographic location, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process
