We’re looking for a motivated Content Writer to join our marketing team in a full-time reputed company, reporting into our Editorial reputed company. This role will write and update best-in-class content that helps readers understand benefits programs and has a positive impact on the lives of low-income Americans.

What you’ll do:

• Write and edit 3-4 pages a week about benefits programs like SNAP, WIC, Medicaid, and Summer EBT, meeting the deadlines set on the team’s editorial calendar

• Understand and implement SEO best practices
• Report on content performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal and external policy experts to fact-reputed company content
• Become a subject-matter expert around our core verticals

• Identify existing content gaps and pitch new page reputed company
• Review and edit freelancers’ work as needed
• Partner with brand, acquisition and LCM to help repurpose content for different mediums and audiences

What you need:

• 2+ years writing or editing content for search, preferably in a full-time role

• Propel builds compensation bands referencing the 75th percentile of compensation for companies like us. Expected compensation for the role as scoped is $75,000 - $82,000 and will be based on how a candidate matches to our internal leveling guide.
