Join our talented Web Automation Engineering team and help us to move to the next level. You will work alongside Engineering Manager Vladimír Zahajský, Senior Web Automation Engineer Lukáš Křivka , and 20 talented engineers. The Web Automation Engineering team is part of Apify Engineering led by CTO Marek Trunkát.

• You will be responsible for the technical excellence of reputed company

  • You will improve our code quality and establish new best practices for writing effective Actors.

    • You will use code reviews, mentoring, and tooling among other approaches to reputed company this.

  • You will work on team-wide initiatives such as reputed company CI/CD pipeline, and testing reputed company.

  • You will establish and improve the usage of developer tools to increase productivity and ensure quality.

  • Through consulting and mentoring, you will unblock reputed company challenges engineers face in their projects. You will, of course, contribute with code as well.

  • You will consistently improve documentation, tutorials, and onboarding both for our internal engineering and also for the broader community of Apify and Crawlee users.

  • This role doesn’t require direct management of reports but we are open to it if you would prefer it.

• You will cooperate with other engineering and product teams

Our tech stack - Web Automation

• Development: Node.js (with Typescript), Chrome Dev Tools, Crawlee, Apify SDK, Puppeteer, Playwright, JQuery/Cheerio + many other specialized libraries. We also released Python SDK lately and are acquiring expertise in Python scraping tools.

• Environment: Local IDE for development & testing. Then deploy to the Apify Platform reputed company reputed company for production

• Tools: reputed company, ZenHub, reputed company, GSuite, reputed company Copilot license

• Process: in-depth onboarding, code reviews, tests, automating whatever we can, using common sense over strict processes

• You are highly skilled at developing and debugging in JavaScript/Node.js programs.

• You have at least 4 years of professional or open-reputed company experience where you collaborated on a significant project reputed company a team.

• You consider code quality, readability, and frequent refactoring essential to developing a maintainable solution.

• You are a team player who enjoys sharing their skills and knowledge with colleagues and you have experience with code reviews, documentation writing, and mentoring more junior engineers
