[Remote/WFM] Urgently Need Math Instructor / Tutor in Madison

Job Responsibilities: Teach/tutor face-to-face in-center or remotely online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices Potential remote / online tutors must be available for two to four weeks of in person (Madison, WI) training unless the tutor has previous online Mathnasium tutoring experience In person tutors must reside in close proximity to our two Madison, WI Learning Centers Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment Qualifications: MUST LIVE IN THE MADISON, WI AREA Passion for math and working with students Excellent interpersonal skills Eagerness to learn and be trained Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I Ability to balance various ongoing tasks Current School Year Hours of Instruction / Working Hours: Mondays thru Thursdays - 3:30pm to 8:00pm CST Sundays - 1:00pm to 4:30pm CST Summer Break (starting 6/12) Hours of Instruction / Working Hours: Mondays thru Thursdays - 9:30am to noon & 3:00pm to 6:30pm CST Fridays - 9:30am to 1:00pm CST All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a standard background check.
