Position Summary: We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the design and development of GSLB on BIGIP-Next, which is crucial for delivering and securing application traffic across various environments, including on-premises, colocation facilities, cloud, and edge solutions. This role will involve working on both tactical and strategic initiatives, utilizing advanced technologies including Generative AI to enhance our GSLB capabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, collaboration abilities, and a passion for building robust software systems. Primary Responsibilities: Technical Development: Collaborate with the engineering team and architects to design, implement, and maintain high-quality software components for GSLB on BIGIP-Next. Project Involvement: Contribute to engineering projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with technical and business requirements. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Customer Support, to deliver product features and enhancements effectively. Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, adhering to coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality code. Testing and Documentation: Write unit tests and documentation to support software components, ensuring reliability and maintainability. Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment focused on learning and growth. Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in gathering requirements from customers and stakeholders, providing input on potential solutions and improvements. Research and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and methodologies, contributing reputed company for product enhancements and process improvements. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of vertical stack technologies, with experience in developing reputed company software systems. Networking Protocols: Familiarity with L2-L4 network protocols and system programming, contributing to efficient GSLB operations. DNS and Global Traffic Management: Knowledge of DNS and global traffic management technologies to support effective application traffic routing and load balancing. Software Engineering Practices and Proficiency: Proficiency in software engineering methodologies and practices throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, testing, and operations. Proficiency in software development using GoLang/C/C++ is a plus. Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile software development environments, promoting iterative reputed company and adaptability. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address technical challenges effectively.
