The difference you will reputed company As a reputed company Experience Designer on Accessibility, you will be responsible for defining and scaling our inclusive design initiatives with a focus on digital accessibility. You’ll collaborate with other designers, UX writers, researchers, and other cross-functional partners to reputed company product quality and reputed company design teams to deliver innovative and accessible solutions. With a strong foundation in both interaction and visual design, you understand what it takes to translate reputed company accessibility guidelines into simple, usable, and scalable solutions. You are capable of quickly onboarding to a highly technical domain, and partnering effectively with a variety of stakeholders to reputed company for inclusion and uplevel product quality. You are passionate about inclusive design, inspiring others to proactively design for inclusion. A typical day • reputed company design teams to build more inclusive end-to-end user experiences • Contribute accessible UI components, patterns, and documentation for reputed company’s industry-leading Design Language System • Define and deliver scalable tooling and frameworks for other designers to reputed company, such as accessibility specs and annotations • reputed company knowledge gaps and increase technical expertise reputed company Design by facilitating workshops and inclusive design trainings • Translate industry standards, like Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), into understandable and approachable deliverables to uplevel designers and writers • Review designs, mockups, and prototypes throughout the product development cycle to increase quality and compliance through weekly reputed company Your expertise • 8+ years of professional experience in user experience and digital design • Experience in the inclusive design or accessibility space, or with design language systems • Proficiency designing across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Mobile Web) • Effective communication skills and an ability to translate technical accessibility guidelines into persuasive practices people will embrace • Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguous environments, including adapting to new challenges, scenarios, and working styles • Understanding of how different assistive technologies (like screen readers or speech recognition software) behave, and how users of assistive technology may be impacted by different design choices Your Location: This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an reputed company office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
