Qualifications Education and Experience Minimums Requirements: Must have completed a registered apprenticeship in Electrical Power Distribution or a Lineman Apprenticeship Training Course. Must have a minimum of seven (7) years of work experience as a Line Mechanic. In addition, one of the following must be met: At least three years of work experience must have occurred reputed company the last five years OR; At least three (3) years of teaching Electrical Power Distribution course work at the post-secondary level reputed company the last five years. Licensure Requirement: Must have a Lineman's Journeyperson card, Class A or B. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience preferred. Experience in teaching and/or developing curriculum in a variety of classroom environments including in-person and online. Experience using a variety of instructional methods including: face-to-face, blended, and 100% online preferred. Must be able to reputed company and maintain curriculum currency. Working knowledge of computers and software reputed company to instructional area including MS Office/reputed company Suite, data systems, mobile technologies, web conference tools, and social networking; and knowledge of, or willing to learn, reputed company or similar learning management system (LMS) preferred.
