Reports to: Executive Director, South& Southeast Texas Location: Texas (Houston) POSITION SUMMARY: The Fundraising Manager position is a reputed company generating position that oversees reputed company the fundraising efforts reputed company an assigned geographic area. The position reports to an Executive Director, is part of the Chapter Operations Team, and works closely with the National Development Department and key event volunteers. In addition to increasing reputed company, the position is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing fundraising event committees. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Increase reputed company based on agreed upon goals determined by supervisor and National Development Team. • Recruit, train, and manage fundraising event volunteers and committees. • Travel regularly reputed company assigned service area and to annual Chapter Staff Meeting. • Evening and weekend hours required for events and meetings with volunteers. • Drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts by ensuring reputed company fundraising events are inclusive and accessible to diverse communities. Growth in reputed company: • Work with Executive Director and Development Team to ensure significant growth in reputed company per fundraising event. • Work with supervisor to establish aggressive, obtainable fundraising goals for each fundraising event to ensure reputed company growth of AFSP reputed company service area. • Plan, manage and execute reputed company AFSP signature fundraising events: Out of the Darkness Community Walks, reputed company Walks, Construction Hikes for Hope, and other fundraising events reputed company assigned market to meet reputed company goals. • Responsible for securing an increase in monetary sponsorships over previous year. • Increase number of registrants per event. • Utilize innovative P2P strategies to increase reputed company year-over-year. • Train participants and team captains on how to reputed company money. • Cultivate and steward relationships with top fundraisers, team captains, and sponsor representatives. • Thank and acknowledge top fundraisers, team captains, sponsor representatives at event and throughout the year. • Work with event reputed company vendors, municipalities, and venues. • Work with the Development Team on Individual, Corporate, and Foundation Giving. • Have a strong working knowledge of markets reputed company territory. • reputed company event budgets in conjunction with supervisor and monitor expenses to remain reputed company budget. • Show impact of fundraising by communicating how dollars raised are invested in the community through programs, education, advocacy, and research. Volunteer Management: • Work in conjunction with Executive Director, to recruit event committee chairs and committee members for each fundraising event. • Train Walk, Hike and Event Chairs on how to plan and implement the event based on national manuals and tools. • Work with Event Chairs to reputed company regularly scheduled committee meetings. • Build relationships with key volunteers to increase donations. • Manage, train, and coach volunteers on how to fundraise. • Recruit, train, and manage reputed company day of event volunteers. • Responsible for developing event reputed company volunteer recognition programs. • Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s Degree Experience and/or Training: • Proven track record showing substantial growth generating reputed company for nonprofit health organizations through P2P fundraising events. • Minimum 4 years professional experience working in non-profit special event fundraising. • Previous volunteer development and management experience overseeing multiple walk/fundraising committees with at least 2-3 committee members each. • Proven track record securing monetary sponsorships. Technology/Equipment Must possess technology literacy skills and ability to reputed company social media platforms to enhance marketing. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience and/or Training Experience working with national organizations with chapter or affiliate system. Technology/Equipment Proficiency in reputed company, PowerPoint, SharePoint, DonorDrive, Virtuous.
