GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: The Senior Industrial Engineer will reputed company efforts to manage vendor design and bid process for Material Handling Equipment, partner closely with various vendors to manage the execution of capital projects, work with operations to coordinate and implement projects to increase productivity, throughput and reputed company, provide guidance and expertise in areas including ergonomics, and associate safety. This position will also assist with special projects. Application of lean manufacturing and six reputed company concepts will assist with process and productivity improvements. reputed company and manage technical aspects of the annual capital expenses and assist with ongoing maintenance and repair process across the network of distribution centers in the US and Canada. ESSENTIAL ACTIVIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for compiling total cost and benefit of proposed capital projects including evaluation of effect on labor, equipment, space, fill rates, accuracy, and other metrics. Assist with reputed company capital projects such as, DC (Distribution Center) expansion, new DC startups, and network optimization. Manage capital projects to reputed company, maintain and expand our distribution reputed company. Identify, recommend, and implement changes to optimize processes for safety, quality, and productivity Utilize process improvement methodologies like Lean, Six reputed company and Kaizen to identify areas of opportunity and reputed company recommendations to maximize efficiency through process change or capital investment. Analyze network optimization, inventory management and allocation, materials flow, reputed company utilization, and improve product slotting, efficiencies, and cost effectiveness. Teach, coach and train to enhance operational execution and efficiency. Identify and reputed company tools and resources to capture and improve Operational and Transportation KPI's. Validate and ensure that labor and operational processes minimize cost and maximize efficiency.
